About the exhibition

The newest work of Martin Osner and Samantha Lee Osner, side by side once again

Every November, for many years now, Martin Osner and his daughter, Samantha Lee Osner, open their father and daughter exhibition at Osner Gallery. It is the gallery’s biggest exhibition of the year.

This year’s exhibition is called Resonance. Strike a bell once and it keeps ringing long after, and the room rings with it. That is what summer does to the Cape. The light turns gold, the water turns blue and warm, the whole mood of the place changes, and something in you answers. The new work is about that feeling.

Come and spend the opening day with Martin and Samantha among the new work. Nicky Cowper, the winemaker at Bloupunt, will be pouring the Bloupunt celebration wines, the bottles that carry their art on the labels.

The gallery is an intimate space, so places are limited. Please RSVP so we can keep a place for you.

Invitation to Moments of Grace, an art exhibition at INARA, Val de Vie, on 19 November 2026

The evening

Gather around the fireside as Martin Osner presents The Art of Investment and Designer Trends. Then wander through the gallery to see Moments of Grace, a celebration of summer light: wide open views and panoramic prints.

The evening ends with the flavours of Fire, paired with Bloupunt’s double gold award winning wines, under the Drakenstein mountains. It is an evening to meet fellow art lovers, neighbours and new friends.

Meet the artists

Koos van der Lende still works with traditional slide film, which is processed and scanned to make exceptionally fine prints. Known for his understanding of light, his composition and his uncompromising craftsmanship, he is one of South Africa’s leading landscape photographers, and his panoramic landscapes show a deeply personal bond with the land.

Martin Osner and his daughter Samantha Lee Osner bring two generations of artistic vision together: different in style, united by a love of light, beauty and feeling.

Looking back, 17 September 2026

Whispers of Nature at INARA, Val de Vie, Cape Winelands

What a night it was at INARA on Thursday 17 September 2026. After almost a week of battering winds, which finally began to subside just before the opening, it turned out to be a beautiful evening under the stars. We don’t think any of our guests knew what was lying in wait for them.

The evening began with a pairing of Bloupunt’s award winning wines with the exotic tastes of BYBLOS, presented by winemaker Nicky Cowper. She took our guests behind the scenes, sharing what moved her to bring out the flavours in each wine. It started with the MCC on arrival and moved on to the Rosé, the feature wine of the evening, whose label carries Reminiscence No.1, Martin’s tribute to his youngest daughter, Leeanne. Then came the recently launched Chenin Blanc, followed by the Cabernet and the Shiraz. Martin Osner also told the behind the scenes stories of why each artwork was chosen for its particular wine, across the art labels that dress the Bloupunt wines.

Cheffing duo Keith and Lyn Mansour of BYBLOS then presented an exquisite Lebanese banquet. The evening was rounded off beautifully with a dessert table, music at the grand piano and some enthusiastic singing from the guests. As host at INARA, Lyn Mansour outdid herself, curating an evening that will not be forgotten.

It reminded us that art, food and wine are a perfect pairing. The next evening at INARA is Moments of Grace, the summer seasonal experience on Thursday 19 November 2026, where wide open vistas are the theme in a collection of panorama prints. Bookings are now open. To avoid disappointment, the best way to make sure of a seat is to book your place on www.inarasanctuary.com, or to contact Lyn Mansour at INARA ahead of time at events@inarasanctuary.com.

Always on the walls

The Signature Collection, all year round

Exhibitions come and go, but the ground floor of the gallery never goes quiet. It holds the Signature Collection, the paintings, mixed media and photographs that collectors come back to see, such as Adorn No.2 and Salt of the Earth.

So whenever you visit, during an exhibition or between them, there is original work on the walls to see.
