Dry, delicate and made for summer

Delicately hued and refreshingly dry, this Rosé is made from carefully selected grapes. Notes of wild strawberry, watermelon and a hint of pink grapefruit unfold on a crisp, mineral palate.

Mountain breezes and limestone soils lend a clean finish and refined texture, the perfect companion to summer meals and open skies.

Martin Osner made Reminiscence No.1 as a tribute to his youngest daughter, Leeanne, and her journey. It is a portrait about memory, vulnerability and the strength that sits quietly in stillness, with soft textures and layered impressions that give it a muted, poetic calm.

It was chosen for this Rosé for its elegance and softness, the same qualities you find in the glass.

Where to taste Bloupunt

Taste Bloupunt at Bloupunt Winery, Montagu

Bloupunt is made and poured at Bloupunt Winery in Montagu, on Route 62, where the mountains give way to the Karoo, South Africa’s semi arid desert. You can taste the full range, eat with a view of the mountains, and see original work by Martin Osner and Samantha Lee Osner.

Why the name: the original farm sat tucked into the back corner of Montagu, where the mountains are high, and fell into shadow every afternoon. It became known as Die Blou Punt, Afrikaans for the blue point, and the wine carries the name to celebrate that heritage.

The rest of the collection hangs at Osner Gallery in Hout Bay, twenty minutes from Cape Town. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Sunday by appointment, booked the day before.
